The website at vic.law (the “Site”) is operated by Victor Wang (“vic.law,” “we,” or “us”). By using the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the Site.
No legal advice or attorney-client relationship
The Site offers general information, not legal advice about your situation. Viewing the Site or sending us a note does not by itself create an attorney-client relationship. Victor Wang represents you only after he accepts your matter and both of you sign an engagement letter. Until then, don’t rely on the Site or an informal reply for your legal decisions. Legal deadlines may apply to your matter.
Contacting us
We treat everything sent through the Start form, on either route, as confidential. We share it only with the service providers that deliver and store it, and as our Privacy Policy describes. Confidential handling does not mean every note is protected by attorney-client privilege. We haven’t checked for conflicts of interest when you first write, so please keep your note brief and leave out confidential or sensitive details. A sentence or two is enough; if appropriate, we’ll ask for more.
Legal matters is for asking whether Victor can help with a legal issue. Good ideas is for media, consulting, and collaboration inquiries. Sending an idea does not oblige us to use or pay for it. If a Good ideas note is actually a request for legal help, we’ll handle it as a Legal matters inquiry.
Using the Site
You may view and share the Site for personal and informational purposes. We or our licensors own its content, including its text, videos, artwork, and the Hoji character. Please don’t copy or republish substantial parts without permission, except as the law allows. Don’t interfere with the Site or use the contact form to send spam or harmful content.

Site disclaimers
The Site is provided “as is” and “as available,” to the extent the law allows. We don’t promise that it will be accurate, complete, current, or uninterrupted. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for losses from using or being unable to use the Site. These Terms govern only your use of the Site. Legal services are governed by the engagement letter and applicable professional rules.
Changes
We may update these Terms by posting a new version with a new “Last updated” date.
